'Distracted' Berks Driver Hospitalized After Slamming Into Utility Pole: PA State Police A driver was injured in a single car crash last week in Berks County, authorities said. Virginia Zartman, 76, was driving westbound on Old 22 about 1/4 mile west of Saddle Road in Greenwich Township when her car left the south side of the road and struck a utility pole around 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 5, Pennsylvania State Police said.
