Coroner Names Driver Killed In Lehigh County Crash Eighty-four-year-old Helen R. Werley died after her car struck another vehicle in Lynn Township on Thursday, April 11, according to the Lehigh County Coroner.  Officials said Werley, of Weisenberg Township, died from multiple blunt-force injuries. The manner of death was accidental.  The crash happened near the intersection of Schochary Road and Kistler Valley Road around 3:45 p.m. and Werley was pronounced dead at the scene, the Coroner's Office added.

VA Man Found Dead In Tractor Trailer Along I-78 In PA A 67-year-old Virginia man was found dead inside of his tractor trailer in Pennsylvania Friday, March 1, the county coroner said. Larry H. Harris Jr.'s trailer was found parked and secured near the Exit 45 off ramp on the westbound side of I-78, in Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County around 11 a.m., Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. An autopsy will be performed on Monday, March 4, 2024 to determine the cause of death, which was not considered suspicious, Buglio said. The Pennsylvania State Police, Fogelsville station is also investigating.

Man Killed After Crashing Into Tree: Lehigh County Coroner A Weisenberg Township man was killed Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 30 when his car left the roadway and hit a tree, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.  It happened on the 8000 block of Holbens Valley Road around 1:15 p.m., officials said.  Christopher M. Baines was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries, said Coroner Dan Buglio. HIs death was ruled accidental.  Pennsylvania State Police are investigating, according to the release.

VA Man ID'd As Victim Killed In I-78 Crash A 22-year-old Virginia man was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on a Pennsylvania highway over the weekend, authorities said. Evan Dennison, of Berryville, was driving a vehicle that struck the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 78 in Weisenberg Township, on Sunday, July 23, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. Dennison was pronounced dead at the scene, at 2:53 p.m. All westbound lanes were closed for several hours. Pennsylvania State Police were investigating.

89-Year-Old Passenger Killed In Lehigh Valley Wreck A car accident in Lehigh County on Thursday afternoon claimed the life of an 89-year-old passenger, the county Coroner's Office says.  It happened just before 2 p.m. near the intersection of Old US Route 22 and Mill Creek Road in Weisenberg Township, officials wrote in a release.  Myra T. Rosenberger of Weisenberg was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where she died of multiple blunt force injuries, the coroner said. Her death was ruled accidental.  The accident remains under investigation by state police at Fogelsville, officials added.
