'You Are Not Alone': NJ Woman Wins Revenge Porn Suit Against Ex-Math Teacher
"This is not your fault and you are not alone." That's the message New Jersey's Kaitlyn Cannon is sending to other victims of "revenge porn," after she successfully sued her former high school math teacher who shared her naked photos. An Ocean County jury last week ruled Cannon should be awarded $10,000 in damages, as first reported by Insider. Ruben Wilson had a habit of wandering off and sometimes traveling significant distances from his Englewood home despite dementia and other challenges. The 6-foot, 240-pound Wilson always turned up, though -- from as close as Teaneck, Hackensack and Tenafly, and as far as the Jersey Shore. He was once found with his dog in Englewood Cliffs.
