27-Year-Old Killed In Northeast Philadelphia Motorcycle Crash: Officials A 27-year-old motorcyclist died after a crash in Philadelphia's Somerton neighborhood on Sunday night, July 7, according to city police.  The rider of a blue Suzuki motorcycle was headed north on Bustleton Avenue when he ran through a red light at Tomlinson Road, said crash investigators in a release. Burglars Return To PA Neighborhood For Third Time This Month: Authorities Lower Moreland police are investigating another overnight break-in at a township home — the third of its kind in the last month, according to authorities.  It happened on Saturday, Aug. 5 at a residence near Pine Road, the department said in a release. While the victims were out of the house, two suspects kicked in a side door around 9:30 p.m., investigators said.  The burglars tripped the security alarm and only made off with "one valuable item" before fleeing, police continued.
