A 66-year-old mom of two has died following a house fire, authorities announced on Thursday, July 24. Beth Hill Yanni, of the 2600 block of Lebanon Road in Manheim, Rapho Township, was taken to Lancaster General Hospital after "being caught in a fire at her residence," as written in the Lancaster County Coroner's report. The fire broke out at her home around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24 — she was pronounced dead in the trauma bay at 9:39 p.m., the coroner explained. Man ID'd After Fatal Fire In Pottstown: Coroner
A 53-year-old man died after the early morning blaze in Pottstown on Thursday, May 30, according to officials. Bradley Ludwig died from complications of thermal burns and smoke inhalation, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. The manner of death was ruled accidental. Authorities have said the fire broke out on the fifth floor of the Robert P. Smith Towers, 501 High Street, just after 6 a.m. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
