A 28-year-old registered sex offender injured a police officer during a tussle in Lititz, on Wednesday, Nov. 2, authorities say. Derek Alan Manz fled before Lititz Borough police responded to a 911 call about a domestic disturbance at a home in the 400 Block of West Marion Street at 6:12 p.m., according to a release by the department. Upon arrival, a woman told them that Manz assaulted and choked her. Her injuries were non-life-threatening, according to the police. 10-Year-Old Boy Choked By Uncle During Argument In Suburban Philly: Police
A Chester County man was arrested after police say he assaulted his nephew. A 10-year-old boy told officers that his uncle, Stephen M. Reese, 35, of West Chester, had choked him during an argument inside a home on the 300 block of Fox Hollow Lane around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, West Chester police said. The victim claimed he was not able to breathe for a short period of time. Reese was then arrested and charged with strangulation and simple assault, police said. He was remanded to Chester County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail, records show.

PA Man With Long History Of Abuse Found Guilty Of Strangling Girlfriend In Bucks County: DA
A Pennsylvania man with a long history of violence was convicted on Wednesday, Sept. 7 of strangling his girlfriend in Bucks County last summer, authorities said. Evan Marquis Smith, 38, of Morrisville, was found guilty on charges of third-degree murder, aggravated assault, and strangulation, among other related offenses, in the death of Jamie Beighley, 39, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office. A man was arrested after assaulting a woman in York County, authorities said. A woman allegedly told police that Juan Rodriguez, 34, strangled her and sat on top of her after an argument erupted when she went to a home on West Harrisburg Street to pick up personal items around 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, according to Carroll Township police. A central Pennsylvania man is wanted for two crimes in two counties, according to a release by Pennsylvania state police. Tyston Fickes, 19, of Fayetteville, is wanted by police after fleeing speeds over 90 miles per hour during an attempted arrest for strangulation on Nov. 30 just before 5 p.m., according to the release. Suburban Philly Man Chokes Headbuts Woman, Spits In Her Face, Police Say
A 35-year-old Suburban Philly man was arrested for choking a woman and then spitting in her face Saturday, police said. The victim told authorities that John R. Logan choked her around the neck, head butted her and the spat in her face on the 100 block of N Third Street around 4:35 p.m., Oxford police said.
