A New Jersey fugitive wanted in a deadly train station shooting and a home invasion was arrested in northeastern Pennsylvania, authorities said. A Scranton man is charged with setting a fire at the Lackawanna County government building last week, according to city police. Paul Howard Strope Jr., 35, is also charged with risking catastrophe and reckless endangerment, authorities said. A police impersonator swiped a set of car keys from an automotive dealer then returned later to steal the vehicle, according to authorities. Scranton police said Ernest J. A man has died and a woman is injured after a "domestic dispute" in Scranton on Saturday, June 8, according to city police. One man is in custody after a 36-year-old was killed in Scranton on Tuesday, May 14. Police originally called Benjamin Thompson's Jackson Street death "suspicious" before declaring it a homicide on Thursday morning, May 16.
