A suspended judge shot a man in the face while he was sleeping, blinding him in one eye, authorities alleged in a release on Thursday, Feb. 15. Suspended Magisterial District Judge Sonya M. McKnight was arrested on attempted murder charges and related offenses on Feb. 15, the Cumberland County District Attorney Seán M. McCormack detailed in a release that evening. A 47-year-old man with a 14-year criminal record of fleeing from the police, driving under the influence at the highest rate, and drug charges— is apparently back at it, according to a release by the Pennsylvania State Police on Thursday, Nov. 2. PA Woman Convicted Of Brother's Christmas Eve Murder
A Dauphin County jury has convicted a 28-year-old woman of third-degree murder in her brother's Christmas Eve murder in 2020. Nafiisah McNeill initially tried to claim she stabbed Leon White-Jones dead in self-defense, in front of her sister's home on the 2400 block of North 4th Street in Harrisburg in 2020, Dauphin County District Attorney's Office. A stalker who repeated called people threatening to rape and murder them and their children has been sentenced, according to a release by the Dauphin County coroner's office. Christopher Kling, 48, was sentenced to a term of 3 to 15 years in a state correctional institution by Judge Scott Arthur Evans on Nov. 12, according to the release.
