A police chase in Ridley Township ended in a car crash and an arrest on Monday afternoon, Jan. 8, state police wrote in a release.
Troopers tried to pull over a driver, later identified as 30-year-old Khalid Mack, in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 around noon, according to officials.
Mack stopped initially but then sped away, exiting the highway onto Highland Avenue, troopers said.

A 20-year-old Pennsylvania driver was speeding well above the limit and was high on marijuana when he struck another vehicle, killing a grandmother and wounding her 7-year-old granddaughter, authorities said.
Logan Dierkes, of Hatfield, was heading west on Mininger Road in Franconia Twp. at approximately 84 mph — possibly above 90 mph — in a 35 mph zone, in a 2008 Dodge Charger while Paula Wilson, of Bethlehem, was pulling out of a driveway around 5:35 p.m. on Sept. 14, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Racing Bucks Driver, 19, Charged In Fatal Philly Crash Was Arrested Last Fall At Car Show
A 19-year-old Bucks County driver has been charged in a Philadelphia crash that killed a pedestrian, authorities said — even more troubling, he was arrested last October.
Joseph Vannauker, of Levittown, is facing charges of homicide by vehicle, murder, and reckless driving, for the 12:05 a.m. crash on Castor and Aramingo Tuesday, Aug. 22, Philadelphia police said.
Last October, Vannauker was arrested for screaming profanities at police using a bullhorn during and inciting crowds during a car show that caused chaos in Philadelphia streets, Fox29 reports.
