Bucks Man Gets State Prison Time For 3 Violent Attacks Of Ex-GF
A Bucks County man who beat and choked his ex-girlfriend three different times in a seven-month period was sentenced to two to four years in state prison, authorities sad.
Patrick Dando, 35, of Bensalem, pleaded guilty Thursday to aggravated assault, strangulation, and theft by unlawful taking in the most recent attack, which he committed while he was out on bail for the first two, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
He pleaded guilty to strangulation and simple assault for each of the first two attacks on the victim.

Former Chester County Judge Pleads Guilty To Theft
A former Chester County judge previously charged with using campaign contributions to gamble pleaded guilty to charges of theft, authorities announced.
Michael Cabry III, 59, was charged in October 2020 with repeatedly withdrawing funds donated to his reelection Political Action Committee (PAC) and using the funds to gamble at casinos in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, Attorney General Josh Shapiro said.
He also used the funds to pay for personal expenses, including laundry services, groceries, and hotel stays.

A Pennsylvania woman was sentenced to 23 months in prison and two years probation after she admit to keeping her disabled sister in a wooden cage and providing her with little to no medical care, authorities announced.
Leona Biser, of Washington County, was charged and release on bail on Jan. 15, 2020, then jailed in August of last year for failing to show up in court.
