Drugs, Ghost Guns, Corruption: Bucks Co. Native Turned NJ Police Sgt. Indicted, Prosecutors Say
A former Middletown police sergeant was given 22 criminal charges after an investigation revealed a web of illegal activity involving untraceable guns, drugs, and abuse of power, authorities said.
David Ringkamp, 43, was indicted by a grand jury, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Thursday, Dec. 19. Ringkamp was formerly a Union Beach resident.
The investigation into Ringkamp began in December 2021. New York State Police identified Nicholas D’Ambrosio of Millstone as someone purchasing kits to assemble ghost guns, which are illegal in New Jersey.…
Allentown Vice Officer Charged For Swiping $5K In Drug Money: Lehigh County DA
An Allentown Police vice officer is facing charges for stealing more than $5,000 in cash following a drug bust, the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office said in a Friday, Nov. 15 news release.
Jason Michael Krasley, 47, of Upper Milford Township, was charged after an investigation found that he stole $5,500 in cash while in the 1300 block of Chew Street in May 2019, following a drug bust, according to the district attorney's office.

On-Duty Pennsylvania State Trooper Charged For Drunk Driving
A Trooper with the Pennsylvania state police is accused for accused of driving intoxicated while on duty, according to a release by PSP on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
29-year-old Austin J. Burney, of Cooksburg, was assigned to Troop C, Lewis Run when he "was found to be under the influence of alcohol during his assigned shift on the afternoon of Sunday, November 27," as stated in the release.
He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, roadways laned for traffic, and driving on the right side of the roadway, according to the police and confirmed by court documents.

Yeadon Borough Council Votes To Fire Police Chief
A borough council in Delaware County voted to fire its police chief of five years, officials said.
In a 4-3 vote on Thursday, Feb. 17, the Yeadon Borough council removed police chief Anthony Paparo for allegedly overspending on overtime hours, which cost taxpayers $387,000, his attorney, Harold Goodman, said in a letter.
Paparo is accused of overscheduling part-time officers in 2019 and 2020, thus violating the terms of the police union's collective bargaining agreement, the letter states.
