It's been a green, wet December in southeastern Pennsylvania and this week was no exception, with sustained showers throughout Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 27 and 28. Here's how the rainfall in each county stacked up, according to the National Weather Service's Mount Holly Station. NJ Car Fire Linked To Killing Of Philadelphia Police Officer
A car fire on a New Jersey roadway has been linked to the shooting of two Philadelphia police officers that left one dead on Thursday evening, Oct. 12, authorities said. Police in South Brunswick said only that the vehicle fire extinguished on Route 32 around 1 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, was connected to the shooting. The vehicle fire came nearly two hours after Philadelphia Police Officers Richard Mendez and Raul Ortiz were shot at Philadelphia Airport. The alleged suspect of a Montgomery County fatal hotel shooting was captured by U.S Marshals near Philadelphia airport Wednesday morning, authorities said. Jonathan Tunnell, 40, of Philadelphia, is facing first, second, and third-degree murder charges for the murder of Henry Palmen, 35, in a hotel room in King of Prussia on Monday, June 14, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R.
