Coroner Seeks Family Of 77-Year-Old Lehigh County Man The Lehigh County Coroner's Office is looking for the next of kin for a man who died at his North Whitehall home over the weekend.  Richard Alfred Saul, 77, died from natural causes on Sunday, June 2, officials said.  Anyone who can contact his loved ones is asked to call 610-782-3426 or email danielbuglio@lehighcounty.org.

Crews Respond To Commercial Fire In North Whitehall (Photos) Multiple fire departments were at the scene of a large commercial fire in North Whitehall early Monday morning, April 22.  Greenawalds Fire Rescue 11 said it happened on the 4800 block of Kersnville Road just after 1 a.m. Photos from the scene appear to show the garage and several vehicles at trucking company Doctor Diesel damaged by flames.  Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department said they were on the scene until 7 a.m. No injuries were reported by authorities.  East Allen Township Fire Department and Coplay Fire Department also responded to the multi-alarm blaze.

Cold CASE: Trip Wire On Lehigh Valley Trail Led To Teen Dirtbiker's Death, Police Say State police investigators are looking for tips in the 1992 death of Christopher Keller.  The 15-year-old was riding his Kawasaki dirtbike on Sept. 24, 1992, when he struck an electrical cable strung between two trees, troopers say.  According to a contemporaneous report from the Allentown Morning Call, the wire slashed his windpipe and he fell, fracturing his skull. Cold Case: Nephew Found Lehigh Valley Woman Murdered In Her Home Pennsylvania State Police are asking for the public's help to find Rose Josephine Hnath's killer.  The 78-year-old was found murdered on the floor of her North Whitehall home on Jan. 21, 1989, troopers said.  Her nephew had gone over to check on her around 7:30 p.m. after she was uncharacteristically absent from a church service that morning, according to a 2011 Allentown Morning Call report.  She was stabbed and beaten to death and her house had been ransacked, authorities said. Lehigh Valley Man Dies After Being Hit By Two Cars, Coroner Says A car accident in the Lehigh Valley claimed the life of a pedestrian late on Saturday, June 10, officials say.  It happened around 9 p.m. in North Whitehall, said Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio in a statement. Christian Torres, 22, of North Whitehall, was hit by two cars near Rising Sun Road and Mauser Street.  Torres was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest about an hour later, he added. The cause of death is pending an autopsy scheduled for Wednesday, June 14, Buglio wrote.  The accident remains under investigation by state police.

The pack of three show "major aggression," and attacked one dog who required euthanasia due to her injuries, authorities in North Whitehall said. The pack was spotted around Clearview, Bellview, Scheidy’s, Fairview, Victoria, 329 in Egypt, and more. The original dark brindle dog has been around since May and caused no harm since then.
