A commercial truck struck a utility pole and crashed into a tractor trailer at a Paramus Starbucks early Saturday morning, May 24, causing power outages and traffic disruptions, authorities said. The crash happened at approximately 3:05 a.m. on Route 17 South, near Kayal Orthopedics, according to Paramus Police Chief Robert M. Guidetti. Philadelphia Motorcycle Club Mourns Loss Of Rider 'BadKarma' Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash
A Pennsylvania-based motorcycle club is mourning the loss of one of its riders who died during a group ride on the NJ Turnpike over the weekend. New Jersey State Police identified the motorcyclist killed in Robbinsville on Saturday, Sept. 14 as Jeff Ford. Sgt. Charles Marchan said that Ford, 42, of Willow Grove, PA, was ejected from his bike in the outer roadway after it overturned in a series of collisions around 3:50 p.m., killing him. A vehicle crash and overturned tractor-trailer brought a massive emergency response to the New Jersey Turnpike in Burlington County early Tuesday, May 14. A driver from Philadelphia was seriously hurt in the crash, according to New Jersey State Police. Troopers responded to the crash at about 6 a.m. at Interchange 4 in Mount Laurel Township. All lanes were closed on the Commodore Barry Bridge due to a crash on Thursday evening, Oct. 26. According to the NJDOT website, it happened in the westbound lanes of the New Jersey side in Logan Township. The bridge was closed into Chester, PA, the DOT said.

150 Gallons Of Fuel Spilled Onto Route 80 After Crash That Jammed PA, NJ Border For Hours
Route 80 was jammed for hours after a truck carrying hazardous materials crashed, authorities said. This crash occurred at mile marker 1.2 on Route 80 eastbound in Hardwick Township at about 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23. No hazardous material leaked from the jackknifed tractor-trailer, but there was a 150-gallon diesel fuel spill, Knowlton firefighters said. No one was hurt.
