St. Joe's Student Critical After Pedestrian Crash: Reports
A St. Joseph's University student was listed in critical condition after a pedestrian crash on Monday night, Sept. 23, according to multiple news reports. A motorist struck the unidentified student along City Avenue shortly before 8 p.m., Lower Merion Township police and the university told NBC Philadelphia. The victim was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition, the university said in an email sent to the campus community, the outlet said. Six people including four children were injured in a Coatesville home explosion Wednesday. The blast happened just before noon, sparking a two-alarm fire at the Hibernia Road home in West Brandywine Township, NBC Philadelphia reports. Two of the children were airlifted to area hospitals while the other two children were taken by EMS with unknown injuries, officials told the news outlet. Police closed a Philadelphia SEPTA station overnight following a shooting, NBC Philadelphia reports.
