The crucial moments that helped lead authorities to Danelo Cavalcante's capture have been released by federal officials. The final push that led to the 34-year-old convicted killer's capture began just after midnight, Wednesday, Sept. 13, when he set off an alarm at a home near the eastern edge of the police perimeter in northern Chester County, authorities said (scroll for video). Woman Nabbed For Deadly Eastern PA Street Racing Crash
A Norristown woman is in police custody after authorities say she caused a crash that killed one person and injured six more while street racing through the middle of the city. Twenty-year-old Ashley Jones is charged with homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, and related counts, said the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, June 26, prosecutors said. : Husband Kills 94-Year-Old Wife Then Himself In Montgomery County, DA Says
A 93-year-old man killed his wife before turning the gun on himself in Montgomery County on Tuesday, Sept. 12, prosecutors say. Stanley Brown of Lansdale called borough police just after noon and told them he had shot his wife, Florence Brown, said District Attorney Kevin Steele's Office. He told dispatchers he was going to kill himself before a gunshot was heard, authorities said. As police arrived, another shot was heard from inside the home, according to the DA's Office. PA Pedestrian, 83, Killed In Accident On Route 309: Officials
An 83-year-old pedestrian is dead following a crash in Quakertown on Monday, Sept. 4, according to the Bucks County Coroner's Office. The victim was hit by a vehicle on Route 309 on Saturday, Sept. 2, the Coroner Meredith Buck said. He died from multiple injuries and the manner was ruled accidental, authorities said. The Coroner's Office did not name the victim but said he was a Montgomery County resident. Quakertown police have not announced any charges in connection with the fatal accident as of Friday, Sept. 8.

A 48-year-old man is facing charges several weeks after a 7-year-old girl fell to her death from the bed of his pickup truck in Montgomery County, authorities said. Attorney General Michelle Henry is warning older Pennsylvanians to stay vigilant after three New York-based scammers were charged with stealing a combined $145,000 from Keystone State residents.
