Convicted Felon Puts Corrections Officer In Chokehold At Cumberland County Prison, Police Say A 30-year-old convicted felon — in his third prison in six months — is facing new charges after putting a corrections officer in a chokehold, the police announced on Tuesday, April 2.  Justin Miles Bookwalter of Huntingdon is accused of placing "the Corrections Officer in a headlock, while in the headlock the Corrections Officer was unable to breathe," the Middlesex Township police stated in the release.  This incident happened at Cumberland County Prison on March 27, 2024.  This is Bookwalter's third county prison stay since Oct. 31, 2023. The Middlesex Township police arrived at 1501 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle, to find Joseph Patrick Hone, 38, of Carlisle with the machete, according to a release by the department. Somalian Who Threatened Presidential Assassinations Bit PA Corrections Officer: Authorities The Somalian man who allegedly threatened to assissinate President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump has bitten and spit on  Pennsylvania prison guards, authorities say. Mohamed Farah, 32, had been held in the Cumberland County prison since April when a grand jury indicted him for the alleged assassination threats he made in January.
