'Supicious Death': Woman Found Dead In PA Park, Police Say A woman was found dead in a park in Philadelphia, police announced on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024. Philadelphia Police were called to the 900 block of Tustin Avenue in the 7th District at 3:37 p.m. Officers found the unidentified woman at the scene. She was pronounced dead by the Philadelphia Fire Department's Medic Unit at 8:33 p.m. The scene is being held, and the woman's body will be taken to the Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of death. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Philadelphia Police.

Woman Found Dead At Philly Airport Marriott Had Cloth In Mouth: Authorities Detectives are investigating after a 66-year-old woman was found dead at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott on Monday night, Sept. 26, city police told Daily Voice.  The unnamed woman was found lifeless in a hotel room with a cloth in her mouth around 10:40 p.m., the department said.  Her remains were taken to the Medical Examiner's Office. 'Decomposing' Body Pulled From Delaware River, Police Say Philadelphia police are investigating after a man's body was recovered from the Delaware River late on Sunday, July 23, the department told Daily Voice.  It happened just before 8 p.m. near the corner of North Delaware Avenue and Orthodox Street in Bridesburg, authorities said.  The remains were found in the water by a passing ship and reported to the US Coast Guard, police said.
