Woman Killed After Truck Overturns On I-81: PA State Police A woman was killed when her truck overturned along Interstate 81 in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Sept. 11. Carol A. Lopez, 56, of Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 2015 Mack Granite truck northbound near mile marker 78.9 at 2:38 p.m. when the vehicle suffered a mechanical failure in the front right tire, according to investigators. The truck veered sharply to the right, struck a guide rail, climbed the embankment, and overturned before coming to rest, troopers said. Lightweight Plane Crashes At Central Pennsylvania Airport An ultralight aircraft crashed in central Pennsylvania on Wednesday, Nov. 9, authorities say. While trapped in the airplane, the pilot called 911 to a field near Shoestring Airport Ebaugh Road in North Hopewell Township around 2:20 p.m., according to emergency dispatchers.  Upon arrival, rescue crews freed the pilot and found that "the pilot was entangled in the wreckage and was most likely suffering from broken lower extremities," authorities with North Hopewell-Winterstown Volunteer Fire Company said.
