NWS Extends Flood Watch, Wind Advisories In These Pennsylvania Counties As heavy rain moves out of Pennsylvania, the National Weather Service has extended flood watches and wind advisories for several Pennsylvania counties. What began on Tuesday is expected to continue, this means high wind speeds are expected to blow at 20 to 25 mph in the advisory zones. The stronger wind gusts could blow down tree limbs and some power lines. Scattered power outages are possible, according to NWS.  The wind advisory that started at noon on Tuesday has been extended through Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the following counties: Columbia. Dauphin. Man Admits To Filming Child Rapes In Multiple Counties, Lancaster DA Says A man has admitted to raping a child in his care and filming it, the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office announce on Monday, Jan. 8.  On Wednesday, Jan. 3, Arturo Aleman, 47, of the 100 block of Green Street, Lancaster, admitted to raping a child in his care in Lancaster and Berks counties from 2016 through 2022.  When the girl was just 14 years old she "disclosed the abuse to Lancaster City Bureau of Police Detective Jessica Higgins, who began her investigation in Oct. 2022," the DA explained.  The abuse happened from when the girl was approximately 8 years old…

Homicide Investigation: 'Shots Fired' Leads Officers To Dying Man In Lancaster A report of "shots fired" led Lancaster officers to a dying man on Saturday night, according to the bureau.  The officers were called to the incident in the 400 block of South Prince Street, Lancaster at approximately 5:28 p.m., Jan. 6, the Bureau detailed in a release later that evening.  Arriving officers found a man "suffering from an apparent gunshot wound," as stated in the release.  He was taken to "a medical facility for treatment but ultimately succumbed to his injuries," the police said.  A homicide investigation has been launched.
