A former Pennsylvania mom now living in New Jersey who was once accused of faking her daughter's kidnapping has been charged with embezzling "tens of thousands" of dollars from her employer, authorities said. Bonnie Sweeten, 51, of Delanco, faces two counts of federal wire fraud charges, the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced in a release on Monday, Oct. 17. A New York man has been indicted on federal charges for abducting his ex-girlfriend's young daughter from Pennsylvania and bringing her to Brooklyn, authorities said. The suspect who abducted a girl in Reading on Wednesday, Aug. 31 is the ex-boyfriend of the victim's mom, authorities have revealed. Pennsylvania's Michael Horvath on Friday, June 17 was found guilty in the 2013 murder of his co-worker, Holly Grim. Michael Horvath, 55, was convicted on charges of homicide, kidnapping, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse, but was acquitted of obstructing law enforcement.
