Big Lots To Close 5 More Pennsylvania Stores
Things have gotten worse for the discount retailer Big Lots. The national chain was previously set to close approximately 300 stores, then they decided to close 40 more, but following a new filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission on Friday, Oct. 4, the impending closure of another 150 stores nationwide has been announced. A Lincoln University man is accused of recording someone without their permission over a period of months, according to a release by Kennett Square police on Thursday, July 18. One man was slashed in the face and stabbed in the stomach during a Kennett Square mugging, according to police. Authorities said the robbery happened around 9:30 p.m. on June 21. Kennett Square police are searching for a driver who they said fled the scene of an accident on Thursday, May 9. A man in a white Chrysler 200 pulled onto Center Street from Scarlett Alley and struck another car after running the stop sign on West Cypress Street, according to authorities. A 76-year-old man has been arrested for killing his wife and daughter, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and the Pennsylvania State Police Avondale announced on Friday afternoon.
