'Remarkable' Man Killed By Car Was En Route To Work At Philadelphia Hospital: Report The pedestrian killed in a West Philadelphia crash on Wednesday, April 24 was 55-year-old Jonathan Mack, according to city police.  Authorities said Mack was crossing the 3600 block of Spruce Street when he was struck by a Buick Enclave around 5:30 a.m. The driver left the scene while Mack was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he died, police said.  Officials said the driver, a 41-year-old woman, reported the accident to authorities at the 18th Police District. Beloved Montco Dad, Friend Dies At 50 After Illness Robert Ian Konick, a beloved father to five and friend to many, died after a period of illness on Monday, Jan. 2, according to his obituary. He was 50.  Rob was born and raised in Abington where he met many of his lifelong friends, and went on to study architecture at Temple University until 1992, loved ones wrote.
