Masked Burglars Tried To Enter Montco Home, Authorities Say
Three men attempted to burglarize a Lower Moreland residence in broad daylight last month, township police said in a release on Wednesday, July 31. One suspect broke a fence lock and forced his way into the backyard of a home near Pine and Byberry roads on July 5, according to investigators. The second suspect, who was wearing a surgical mask and a hat, knocked on the front door of the home. Authorities said the pictured man forced his way inside a house on the 3300 block of Cresswell Street around 9:40 p.m. on May 7. Bensalem police are asking residents to check their home security video after three cars were shot last Friday, April 19. Illinois Peeping Tom Peered Into Bucks County Homes, Police Say
Authorities in Upper Southampton say they have arrested the man who was peering into area homes early this month. Sergei Dvoriannikov, 41, of Vernon Hills, Illinois, is charged with two counts of loitering and prowling, both misdemeanors, according to township police. Investigators said previously that a peeping Tom was spotted on Cushmore Road and recorded by a resident's home security system. Norristown police are warning residents to stay vigilant after a string of overnight break-ins at area homes. Six houses were burglarized from Nov. 4 to Nov. 12 between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., investigators said.
