PA Dad ID'd After Fatal Motorcycle Crash On I-81: State Police The motorcyclist killed in a crash on Interstate 81 was identified by the Pennsylvania State Police and his family on Monday, Sept. 2. Glen "Jose" Leon Veliz, 38, of Reading, died at the scene of the crash near mile mark 82 on Interstate 81 South in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County at 5:16 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 31, PSP Jonestown Trooper Jordan Seiler detailed in the release. Sprint Car Racer Killed In Motorcycle Crash: York Coroner A 19-year-old sprint car racer has died in a crash — off of the speedway, officials announced on Monday, July 15.  Riley Emig of the 300 block of Protectory Road, Abbottstown, has died following a motorcycle crash into a pick-up truck towing a trailer, according to a release by the York County Coroner's Office. Riley was "traveling at a high rate of speed when he struck an F150 pick-up truck that had been pulling a trailer," as stated in the coroner's release. Girl Riding Bicycle Struck By Mom With Preschooler In Car: West Lampeter PD A mom driving her 4-year-old daughter struck a girl on a bicycle leaving her with "severe head injuries," the West Lampeter Township Police announced on Friday afternoon.  The young bicyclist was struck at the intersection of Wiker and Frances avenues around 6:40 p.m., the police detailed in the release.  The girl had been riding her bike without a helmet going north on Frances Avenue, investigators explained.
