Cocaine Worth $70K Seized In Mercer County Bust: Prosecutor
A multi-agency investigation in Mercer County led to the seizure of 700 grams of cocaine and the arrest of two men from Trenton and Bucks County, PA, authorities said. The cocaine was worth $70,000 on the street, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. NJ Police Lt. Mark Horan Takes His Own Life After 24 Years On Force
A police lieutenant who took his own life over the weekend in his New Jersey home is being remembered as a devoted dad and exemplary officer. Hamilton Police Lt. Mark Horan died Saturday, April 30 in his home. He was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, NJ Advance Media reports. Horan joined Hamilton's force in 1998 and assigned to the patrol division. He moved to the anti-crime unit in 2009, and a year later, was promoted to sergeant. In 2017, he was promoted again to lieutenant, serving in the anti-crime, patrol and administration divisions. Man Posed As US Immigration Officer, Swindled Thousands From Mercer County Victim, Police Say
A Philadelphia man was slapped with charges after pretending to be a federal immigration officer and swindling thousands of dollars from a victim in Mercer County, authorities said Thursday. Leroy Quammie was using the pseudonym “Dill” when posing as a federal officer and “promising to expedite matters involving citizenship status within the United States” on Friday, Jan. 21, Hamilton Police said.
