Drug Trafficking Group With California Ties Operated In Southeast PA: Feds
Five members of an alleged trafficking group active in greater Philadelphia face federal charges, the US Attorney's Office announced this week.
Investigators say the group sent cocaine and methamphetamine to Pennsylvania through the mail for distribution in Reading, Quakertown, Bensalem, Plymouth Township, Coopersburg, and elsewhere.

Charges filed in a drug bust that has halted the "Philadelphia to Lancaster fentanyl pipeline," District Attorney Heather Adams announced on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
Louis Angel Cruz, 42 of the 600 block of S. Ann Street, Lancaster; Michael Beck, 41 of the first block of Crystal Drive, Manheim; and Heather Wagner, 30 of the first block of Crystal Drive, Manheim; were all charged on Oct. 31 in connection with an organized drug operation running from Philadelphia to Lancaster, the District Attorney's office detailed in a release.

Couple Charged In 6-Year-Old Norristown Boy's Overdose Death: DA
A man and a woman are charged in connection with the overdose death of a 6-year-old Norristown boy over the summer, say Montgomery County prosecutors.
Kristen Sabatino, 31, and Matthew Santiago, 35, were the only adults in their Willow Street home when Dominic Lyons was found unresponsive on the morning of July 16, according to the District Attorney's Office.
The 6-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Coroner's Office later determined he died from "drug intoxication from fentanyl and xylazine," authorities said.
