An accident involving a FedEx truck driver and an 18-year-old girl has left one person dead, Pennsylvania state police say. The FedEx truck hit the 18-year-old’s vehicle along Interstate 81 at mile marker 88.6 in Union Township around 12:16 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, according to a release by state police. Man Safely Rescued From River In Pottstown: Sources
A man was safely rescued from a river in Pottstown Thursday, May 5, sources said. Fire crews were called to College Drive and Keystone Boulevard around 3:50 p.m. on a report of a man unable to make it back to shore, Montgomery County Public Affairs Coordinator Todd Stieritz confirmed. Initial reports say the man was about 100 feet out in the water and unable to move. It was unclear how he had ended up in the water. He was safely rescued around 4:35 p.m. and was being treated by EMS at the scene, Stieritz said.

1 Killed In Double Chester Shooting: Police
One man was killed and another was injured in a double shooting over the weekend in Chester, authorities said. Responding officers found the two victims on the 1100 block of West Carla's Lane around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, April 17, Chester City police said. Both men were taken to local hospitals by EMS, where one was pronounced dead and the other was listed in stable condition, police said. Amazon Delivery Driver Finds Body In Pennsylvania: Report
A body was found by an Amazon delivery driver in Pennsylvania on Thursday, Feb. 10, WPXI reports. Police and EMS were called to a report of a body covered in snow near Verona Road and Brinley Drive just before 4 p.m., according to the outlet. The victim appeared to have come outside and fallen, approximately seven to 10 days prior to being discovered, the outlet reports citing the police chief. A man was injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Allentown, authorities said. Officers responded to North Second Street and Court Street on a report of a shooting, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound just before 2 p.m., Allentown police said. A child was airlifted after sliding under a moving car in a Philadelphia area sledding accident, authorities said. Upper Merion police and EMS were called to the 100 block of Arden Road around 4:40 p.m. Friday, police said. Police in Montgomery County are seeking the public's help identifying suspects who robbed two men at gunpoint overnight Sunday. Crews Free Stuck Driver In Perkasie Crash
Rescue crews freed a stuck driver from their car after it crashed in Perkasie Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. Crews arrived at the intersection of Ridge and Tunnel Roads on a report of an auto extrication, according to Perkasie Fire Company. Resident, Firefighter Hospitalized After Lower Southampton Fire
A resident and a firefighter were hospitalized following a house fire in Lower Southampton early Monday morning, authorities said.
