Cold Front Will Bring Change In Weather Pattern As New Storm System Develops In Atlantic
A springlike stretch of weather will finally come to an end as a cold front moves through the region followed by potential impacts from a storm system developing in the Atlantic. The cold front is gradually approaching on Sunday, Nov. 6, and will move through on Monday, Nov. 7, according to the National Weather Service. Mail-In Ballots In One PA County Not Scanning Correctly, Commissioners Say
The first round of mail-in ballots in one central Pennsylvania county are not scanning correctly due to a printing error, county commissioners say. When the Lancaster County Board of Elections begin opening and scanning the first batch of ballots at 7 a.m. on election day, Tuesday, May 17, "it became immediately apparent that a significant number of the mail ballots did not scan," the county commissioners said in a release to the press. York County Ran Out Of Ballots On Election Day
Several York County polling places ran out of Ballots on election day. Many people, mostly Republicans were turned away around 11 a.m. according to election officials. The Nashville Volunteer Fire Company in Spring Grove was one of the locations that ran out of Republican paper ballots, but offered voters an ADA machine touchscreen. The Eastern York High School in Lower Windsor Township ran experienced shortages around 1:30 p.m. Election officials began turning away voters and asked them to return in a few hours when additional ballots would be available.
