Lancaster City police officers were called to the 1st block of East Walnut Street for a reported medical emergency on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., police said in a release. Car Pulled From River In Central PA: Authorities A car was pulled from a river in Central Pennsylvania on Friday, June 2, 2023, authorities say.  Manheim Township Fire Rescue worked to pull the submerged sedan from the Conestoga River in Lancaster County. It was pulled from the river near Pleasure Road and East Walnut Street. No one was in the vehicle, authorities told Daily Voice. Crews were first alerted to the vehicle in the river around 6 a.m., but the circumstances that lead to it getting there have not been released.
