Man Found Unconscious, Dies On Lancaster Street: Police
A man was found unconscious on East Walnut Street and later pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts, Lancaster City police said. Lancaster City police officers were called to the 1st block of East Walnut Street for a reported medical emergency on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., police said in a release. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive adult male and immediately attempted life-saving measures using an automated external defibrillator. Drunk PA Gunman Randomly Shoots Then Steals Ring Doorbell: Police
Early Friday morning, a 21-year-old man got drunk and supposedly began wandering around Lancaster randomly shooting a .9 millimeter handgun, authorities announced that same morning. David Ramos was found "intoxicated and a 9mm handgun was found in his possession," city police state in a release on Dec. 1. Car Pulled From River In Central PA: Authorities
A car was pulled from a river in Central Pennsylvania on Friday, June 2, 2023, authorities say. Manheim Township Fire Rescue worked to pull the submerged sedan from the Conestoga River in Lancaster County. It was pulled from the river near Pleasure Road and East Walnut Street. No one was in the vehicle, authorities told Daily Voice. Crews were first alerted to the vehicle in the river around 6 a.m., but the circumstances that lead to it getting there have not been released.

70 Shots Fired Near Central PA Barber Shop: Police
Approximately 70 shots were fired into a barber shop in Lancaster city on Nov. 2022 at 2:09 a.m., police say. The Lancaster City Bureau of police was called to the DC Dior Cuts 648 East Walnut Street in Lancaster city for reports of gunshots in the area. Officers located approximately 70 spent shell casings at the scene with a significant number of shots causing damage to the barbershop.
