Prosecutors across the Northeast are demanding answers from GoFundMe after reports that the fundraising platform created donation pages for more than 1.4 million charities without their permission. 44 Neglected Dogs Rescued From RV In Reading: ARL
Dozens of neglected dogs are safe after being rescued from an RV in Reading, the Animal Rescue League of Berks County announced this week. Humane police officers with ARL’s Department of Animal Protection responded to Grace Street, where they found 44 small terrier-type dogs living in unsanitary conditions, according to the release. The dogs were described as dirty, matted, and trembling. All were removed from the RV on Thursday, officials said. Firefighters rushed to the 300 block of W. Third Street around 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 22, where they battled heavy smoke and flames, according to emergency responders. Rescue officials are desperate for help after 30 animals were seized from a home in Berks County.
