Catalytic Converter Thieves Busted After Car Chase Through Delco: Police
A trio of suspected catalytic converter thieves was arrested and charged after an early morning police chase through Delaware County on Monday, May 8, authorities say.
The three Philadelphia men were arrested on I-95 near the Route 420 Exit just before 4 a.m., Nether Providence Township police wrote in a release. They are:

Ecstasy, Loaded Gun Seized In Early Morning Delco Raid: Police
A quantity of drugs and a loaded firearm were discovered early Thursday morning when police in Delaware County served an arrest warrant at a Media home.
Thurman J. Fortune, 30, was taken into custody by the Central Delco Tactical Response Team on the 600 block of Vernon Street around 6 a.m. on April 27, Nether Providence police said in a release.
He was wanted on charges of assault, terroristic threats, strangulation, reckless endangerment, and harassment, stemming from an alleged incident in June 2020, according to court filings.

PA's David's Bridal Laying Off 9,200 Employees Amid Bankruptcy Filing
Montgomery County's own David's Bridal will send more than 9,000 workers home in an upcoming round of layoffs, according to a disclosure form it filed with the state Department of Labor and Industry.
The Conshohocken-based wedding retailer expects to lay off 9,236 employees nationwide in a three-phase plan that began on Friday, April 14, according to the state website.
