: Philly Motorcyclist Killed In 3-Vehicle Collision, Police Say
A 34-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday, Sept. 10 in a three-vehicle collision in Philadelphia, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 3 p.m. on Woodhaven Road (Route 63) near Thornton Road, Philadelphia police said. The male rider, who was not identified, was traveling eastbound, and collided with both a vehicle and a box truck, also traveling eastbound, police said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead by Medic 20 at 3:19 p.m., they said. Woodhaven Road was closed in both directions during an investigation.

Authorities ID Custodian Found Dead Day Before School Started In Lackawanna County
An 81-year-old man found dead at an elementary school in Lackawanna County has been identified, authorities said on Friday, Sept. 6. The body of Gary Porter, 81, of Dunmore, was discovered on Aug. 27 at Dunmore Elementary Center at 300 W. Warren St. in Dunmore, Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy Rowland told Daily Voice. His death took place one day before the new school year began on Aug. 28. Rowland said he has not issued a ruling on the cause of death pending a police investigation. Motorist, 56, Killed In 2-Car Crash In Berks County: Coroner
A 56-year-old man from Schuylkill County was killed in a two-car crash in Berks County, authorities said. Brian T. Strubhar of Pine Grove Township died in the crash at about 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 6890 Penn Ave. in Heidelberg Township, according to Berks County Chief Deputy Coroner George Holmes. Lackawanna County Man Is 2nd Victim Killed By Home Explosion: Coroner
A second victim has died from injuries following a home explosion in Lackawanna County, authorities said. Leon W. Gruss, 91, of Jefferson Township, was pronounced dead on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at 12:38 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. The cause of death is 51% burns to the body due to the explosion and house fire, Buglio said. Pottstown Man, 60, Dies From Burns Suffered In House Fire: Coroner
A 60-year-old man from Pottstown died of burns suffered in a house fire, authorities said. John Roddenberry was pronounced dead on Sunday, Aug. 18, at about 3:20 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, according to the Lehigh County Coroner. The cause of death was burns over more than 50 percent of his body, the coroner said. The fire occurred on Sunday, Aug. 18 at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the 15 Block of W. 3rd Street, Pottstown. In addition to the coroner's office, the Pottstown Borough Police Department and the Pottstown Fire Department are investigating.

A father of two died following a crash into a tree on Wednesday night, July 17, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio announced the following morning. Johny M.
