Pedestrian Struck Dead In Eastern PA: Police (Update) A pedestrian was struck dead in Montgomery County on Sunday morning, Oct. 13, according to a Hatfield Police release at 7:20 p.m. The collision happened in the area of 1330 North Broad Street around 6:19  a.m., the police detailed in the release.  Officers called to the scene found a 34-year-old man lying "face down in the roadway," as stated in the release.  The road closed between Lynwood and Medical Campus drives for the crash investigation, the police explained in a separate release.  The police investigation revealed the following as written in a release: "T…

The crash, which involved a police vehicle, happened in the 500 block of West Callowhill Street at 12:29 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, police said. PA Motorcyclist Killed Hitting One Car, Run Over By Another On Route 78 (Update) A 45-year-old Easton, PA man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Tuesday, July 2, authorities said. At 10:04 p.m., a BMW motorcycle traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Greenwich Township struck the back of a 2017 Toyota Camry, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was ejected and was subsequently struck by a 2020 Toyota Camry, killing him, Marchan said.  The driver of the 2017 Toyota Camry sustained minor injuries, Marchan said.  The crash remains u…

Trooper Causes Crash Hospitalizing 4 People — Including Himself: PA State Police Four people, including a trooper, were taken to a hospital following a four-vehicle crash, Pennsylvania State Police announced in a release on Feb. 23.  The crash began with a pursuit on US 30 East in West Whiteland Township at 2:46 p.m. on Feb. 3, as detailed in the PSP release.  PSP Trooper Craig A. 1 Dead, 2 Airlifted, 4 Hospitalized In Route 30 Head-On Crash One person died and several others were hospitalized in a head-on crash on Route 30 in Lancaster County Saturday. A silver Chrysler 200 was heading east when it crossed the median and struck a Kia Spectra near the Malleable Road overpass around 6:15 p.m., West Hempfield police said. Two people were flown to Hershey Medical Center and four others were rushed to local hospitals. One person was pronounced dead. The victims' identities were being withheld pending notification.
