At 10:54 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man had fallen from the roof of a commercial building at 310 Fairfield Ave., Fairfield Police Officer Stacy Chiarolanza said. Construction Worker Dies On Jobsite In West Philadelphia (Updated) Union colleagues are passing the hat for Matthew Holloran, who died on a job site last Wednesday, May 8.  "Matt passed away while working on a construction site in West Philadelphia," wrote fellow Insulators Union member Maria Pfrommer on GoFundMe.  "This is a tragedy that hits too close to home, a stark reminder of the dangers our brothers and sisters face every day on construction sites nationwide and just how short life is."
