PA Man Burglarized 6 Morris County Businesses In 3 Months, Prosecutor Says
A Pennsylvania man is behind bars on allegations that he burglarized half a dozen Morris County businesses — including a retail and convenience store, restaurant, and three gas stations — over the course of three months, authorities announced.
Kenneth K. Cook, 48, was charged with various counts of theft, burglary, criminal mischief, and conspiracy, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said in a release with local officials on Tuesday, June 7.

Feds Charge MD Man In $246,390 401(k) Theft From NJ Employee
A Maryland man conspired with others to steal $246,390 from a New Jersey worker’s 401(k), federal authorities charged.
Oladapo Sunday Ogunbiyi, 40, of Greenbelt, and others secretly tapped into the fund, added a bank account belonging to someone else and began steering money into it, an indictment returned by a grand jury in U.S. District Court alleges.
“Ogunbiyi and others directed that the fraud proceeds be converted into cashier’s checks, which were provided to Ogunbiyi,” U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

CT Store Owner, Worker Admit Defrauding Federal Program
The owner of a Connecticut convenience store and his father, who helped him operate the business, have admitted to a food stamps fraud offense.
Hartford County residents Javed Saeed, age 52, and 68-year-old Dastgir Saeed, both of South Windsor, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, May 10, to conspiracy to commit food stamp fraud, according to Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut.
Javed is the owner of the Manchester Quick Mart and Mobil gas station, which is located at 262 Oakland St. in Manchester, the US Attorney's Office reported.

2 Arrests Made In Allentown Robbery
Two people were arrested after an early morning robbery in Allentown on Wednesday, April 20, authorities said.
Chakina Leftwich, 28, of Newark, NJ, and Shantel Collins, 33, of Allentown, were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and simple assault in the incident on the 600 block of North Front Street around 4:55 a.m., Allentown police said.
Officers were given a description of the suspects and their vehicle, they said. The pair were arrested after police spotted their car.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

Gunman, Getaway Driver Charged In Deadly South Jersey Shooting: Prosecutor
Two people have been charged in connection with a shooting that left a 19-year-old man dead in the parking lot of a Willingboro shopping center earlier this month, authorities announced.
The victim, Adam Janson, 19, had gotten into a car with Knowah Crowderparham, 21, and Alexa Hess, 19 — who was driving — when an argument broke out in the car the evening of Feb. 10, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said.
