A man who gunned down a 21-year-old during a broad-daylight robbery on a bridge in Allentown has been sentenced to decades behind bars, Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan announced on Monday, June 16. Jose Santiago, 38, of Allentown, pleaded guilty to felony third-degree murder and felony conspiracy to commit robbery. He was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in state prison by Judge Anna-Kristie M. Marks. His wife, 36-year-old Latasha Santiago, who drove the getaway car, was sentenced earlier this month to 10 to 20 years after pleading guilty to felony conspiracy to commit robbery. …

A former convict wanted on multiple warrants was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting on Monday, Dec. 12, authorities announced on Wednesday. Man Pleads Guilty For Alleged Role In 2019 Fatal Shooting Outside Allentown Bar
One of two men allegedly responsible for a fatal shooting outside an Allentown bar in 2019 has pleaded guilty, according to a recent news report. Jahmel Crews, 27, pleaded guilty Tuesday to third-degree murder and conspiracy to commit robbery for his role in the 2019 shooting of Yaret Rivera, 22, outside the Chicago Sports Bar & Grill, WFMZ reports citing the Lehigh County District Attorney's office.
