'We Gave It Everything': Dog-Themed Bar Permanently Closing In Atlantic City A Philadelphia bar and restaurant is shutting down its Atlantic City location a little more than a year after opening near O'Donnell Memorial Park. In a Facebook post on Monday, Aug. 5, Good Dog Bar announced it was permanently closing its restaurant at 3426 Atlantic Avenue. The bar's final day of operation is Sunday, Aug. 11. Hundreds Of Commuters Briefly Stranded In SEPTA Debacle Some 250 Philadelphia commuters were left stranded on a "dead" track in West Philadelphia Thursday morning, Feb. 22, transit authorities confirmed to Daily Voice.  It happened during the morning rush hour around 7:30 a.m., SEPTA said.  "Amtrak mistakenly routed a Center City-bound SEPTA Regional Rail train to a dead track that was not receiving power," a spokesperson wrote.
