Dad With Deep Penn State Roots Dies After Cancer Battle
A father has died of cancer but the community that stood by him as he battled through chemotherapy, is continuing to stand by his family today. Pete Carfley, originally of State College and most recently of Camp Hill, was diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer in July 2020. Bad Babysitter Arrested For Touch Teen in Camp Hill
A Cumberland County man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a young teen he babysat. Harry Ruppert, 67, of 1100 block Rana Villa Avenue in Camp Hill, has been arrested in connection with a complaint filed by a 14-year-old. The girl told authorities on April 5 that she was touched inappropriately while being babysat several years ago. An investigation determined Ruppert to be the suspected babysitter. York County nurses had a violent fight that turned deadly, and one man has been charged with murder after being turned into police by his father, according to court documents. William Fredric Hudson, 50, of the 600 block of Pleasant View Road in Fairview Township is under arrest at a local hospital where he is being treated for a gunshot wound up the front of his head. Nia Rados Of Enola Dies, 32
Nia Rados of Enola died on Tuesday, March 23. She was 32 years old. Born in Camp Hill, Nia worked for UPMC West Shore Hospital Imaging Department since 2014, her obituary says. She was passionate about working out, traveling, riding her motorcycle and spending time with those she cared about, her obituary says.
