SUV Slams Into 7-Eleven In Northeast Philadelphia: Police A driver suffered a medical emergency before striking a pedestrian and crashing into a convenience store Thursday morning, Aug. 1, according to Philadelphia police.  The driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee lost consciousness while headed west on Harbison Avenue around 12:45 a.m., authorities said. 27-Year-Old Killed In Northeast Philadelphia Motorcycle Crash: Officials A 27-year-old motorcyclist died after a crash in Philadelphia's Somerton neighborhood on Sunday night, July 7, according to city police.  The rider of a blue Suzuki motorcycle was headed north on Bustleton Avenue when he ran through a red light at Tomlinson Road, said crash investigators in a release. Teen Killed In Philly Shooting A 19-year-old is dead after being shot on a Northeast Philadelphia street on Sunday evening, city police told Daily Voice.  It happened on the 6600 block of Bustleton Avenue in Castor Gardens, the department said.  Police were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. and found the victim, Kairo Lessa-Neves of Mayfair, with a single gunshot wound to the head, they said.
