One driver's dead and another is in the hospital following a crash early on Saturday morning, Oct. 20, Bethlehem Township Police announced. The "serious' two vehicle happened at the intersection of Freemansburg Avenue and 7th Street in the township at 2:35 a.m., police detailed in the release. A 67-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash in Lower Nazareth Township, authorities said. Susan Henderson, of Norristown, died as a result of injuries in the crash by a wrong-way speeding driver, Pennsylvania State Police said. Authorities have identified the 84-year-old woman killed in a two-car collision in Bethlehem Township on Tuesday. Irene Lewis, a township resident, died from blunt force injuries sustained in the Feb. 14 crash, the Northampton County Coroner's Office told Daily Voice. A former Bethlehem police officer has been charged with stalking and harassing another police department employee — someone he used to be in a relationship with, authorities announced. Noah Klingborg, 27, is expected to turn himself into the Bethlehem City Police Department on Tuesday afternoon, Northampton County District Attorney Terry Houck said in a press release. Two victims were extricated from a crumpled car and taken to a nearby trauma center following a deadly Tuesday afternoon crash in the Lehigh Valley, authorities said. Emergency crews responding to the crash on Freemansburg Avenue near Linden Street in Bethlehem Township found a vehicle that had slammed into a wall and telephone pole shortly before 12 p.m., the Nancy Run Fire Company said. Crew members used hydraulic tools to safely remove the pair of victims from the crumpled vehicle. Drivers Hospitalized In Lehigh Valley 3-Car Crash
All three drivers were hospitalized Tuesday night following a triple-car crash in the Lehigh Valley, authorities said. The vehicles collided and one of them landed on its side near ShopRite on Freemansburg Avenue in Bethlehem shortly after 6 p.m., according to the township volunteer fire company. NYC Probation Official, Lehigh Valley Resident Sentenced In Child Porn Case
A 54-year-old Lehigh Valley resident was sentenced to 12 years and seven months in prison in a child pornography case, federal authorities announced Tuesday. In March, Robert Costello of Bethlehem pleaded guilty to one count of receiving child pornography, one count of access with intent to view child pornography, and one count of possessing child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. A man armed with a handgun threatened a Lehigh Valley cannabis dispensary worker before fleeing with an undetermined amount of product Monday night, police confirmed.
