Police in Northampton County said they found an "unsecured explosive device" along with a stash of drugs in a bag discarded by a wanted man last Thursday, April 25. Thomas Dee Stocker Jr. is sought for weapons of mass destruction, resisting arrest, and drug offenses, according to Slate Belt Regional Police. Bomb Squad Called After ‘Suspicious Item’ Found At Northampton County Park
Bomb squads and first responders rushed to a Northampton County park to investigate a “suspicious item” that was found on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. The item was found at Bangor Memorial Park shortly after 1 p.m., according to Mayor Brooke Kerzner. The Bethlehem Bomb Squad was called “out of an abundance of caution” and determined the item to be innocuous, Kerzner said.
