Man Threatens To Kill Slate Belt Officer After Getting Booted From American Legion: Authorities
A 61-year-old man threatened to kill police officers after being kicked out of an American Legion in Wind Gap, authorities said. Gregory L. Lutz first threatened patrons after getting the boot from the establishment around 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19, Slate Belt police said. Northampton Man Arrested For Child Pornography, State Police Say
A Northampton County man faces more than a dozen felony charges related child sex abuse material, state authorities said. Bruno Gomes, 47, of East Allen Township, was taken into custody after troopers executed a search warrant at his Colony Drive home on Thursday, Feb. 16, state police wrote. Upper Darby Mayor Barbarann Keffer was under the influence of alcohol when she crashed her car into a guardrail in Upper Chichester Thursday, Jan. 26, authorities said. A Lancaster County Man is accused of possessing and distributing hundreds of images of child pornography, authorities say. Adam Michael Lawr Shirk, 33, of Akron, turned himself into the police, with his attorney present, on Jan. 26 at 1:30 p.m., according to the West Earl Township police. Victim Shot Dead At Philly Auto Body Shop: Report
A 56-year-old man was gunned down in a Philadelphia auto body shop early on Wednesday, Jan. 18, CBS News reports. The shooting occurred at about 8:30 a.m. on Josephine Street in Frankford, the outlet wrote. The unidentified victim was shot multiple times and later pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital, while one suspect was arrested at the scene, they added. Speeding Car Thief Kills 33-Year-Old Driver In Philadelphia: Police
A 33-year-old man died after being struck by a speeding, stolen vehicle Saturday, Jan. 14 in Philadelphia, authorities said. Charges were pending as of Sunday for the driver of the 2020 Kia Optima, that was heading north on 5th Street when it struck a 2016 Toyota Carolla on Lehigh Avenue around 9:50 p.m., a spokesperson for the city's police department said. The Toyota driver was entrapped and pronounced dead at the scene at 10 p.m., while the occupants of the Optima were hospitalized at Temple with minor injuries. A suspect in the murders of four University of Idaho students was arrested in Monroe County, PA, authorities said. Bryan Kohberger, age 28, was arrested in Albrightsville, near the Pocono Mountains, on the night of Thursday, Dec. 29, according to the City of Moscow Police Department on Facebook.
