Berks County Bull Attack Sends Man To Hospital: Troopers State police said a man at a Berks County farm was attacked by a bull on Sunday, June 16.  The man was performing work on a Strausser Road farm in Windsor Township when the bull "aggressively attacked" him, authorities wrote in a release.  The man was injured and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, while the bull was "dispatched" by the owner, according to troopers.

Off-Duty Cop Shoots, Kills Dog Attacking Woman In Philadelphia: Authorities A police officer shot and killed a dog while it and two others were attacking a woman in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday morning, May 14, according to officials.  The officer was off duty and in his personal car when he spotted the victim being bitten by three dogs on the 1500 block of South 58th Street, PPD said. The 21-year-old owner was "attempting to stop the dogs from attacking the woman," police said.
