'Hazardous' Laser Strikes At PA Airport: Police
Two laser strikes have been reported by air traffic controllers at a Pennsylvania airport on Tuesday, Oct. 29, police announced. The "laser strikes" were reported by airport traffic controllers at Harrisburg International Airport "coming from an area approximately one mile north of the tower," Highspire police said. Unexpected engine troubles forced an airliner to land in Philadelphia just over an hour after take-off, officials have confirmed. American Airlines flight 1880 departed from Philadelphia International Airport bound for Charlotte, North Carolina just before noon on Wednesday, Oct. 26, according to Cirium.
