: Sex Offender Convicted On 191 Counts Escapes Courthouse In PA
A convicted sex offered left his trial and hasn't been seen since, officials announced on Monday, July 15. Corey Dean Harris, 47 of Clearfield, PA, left the Jefferson County Courthouse during a lunch break and never returned on Friday, July 12, the County District Attorney and Sheriff detailed in separate releases. DA Jeff Burkett's statement reads in part: "Corey Dean Harris, is now on the run. During his jury trial today, Harris never came back after the lunch break. Residents Report Spotting Helicopters Amid Manhunt For Suspect In Bensalem
Police said they are looking for a man who fled a traffic stop in Bensalem on Thursday afternoon, June 6. It happened near the Wellington Estates, authorities said. Local residents reported seeing helicopters hovering over the area around 2:15 p.m. It was not immediately clear if the aircrafts were assisting with the search. Investigators in Philadelphia are looking for an accused gunman in a triple shooting on Thursday, May 23. A 17-year-old girl has been missing since January 11, authorities say. Terra Braun, of Susquehanna Township, was last known to be in Lancaster City but has never returned home, according to the police. Officers in tactical gear converged on a Fair Lawn neighborhood shortly after 2:30 a.m. recently after a 911 caller who claimed to be 13 told them she'd been kidnapped and held there against her will. Woman Wanted For Meth Distribution, Police In Berks Say
Police in Berks County are seeking the public's help locating a woman wanted for meth and marijuana distribution. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Chasity N. Acree, 44, on various drug possession and traffic violation charges in connection with an incident that happened in Douglass Township last month, local police said. Saddle Brook Boy Charged With Carjacking His Mom
A Saddle Brook juvenile was charged with carjacking his own mother, authorities said. The mom was behind the wheel of a rented Hyundai Elantra when she and her son got into an argument and he insisted he be allowed to drive, Capt. John Zotollo Jr. said.
