Preston, a mother to her three-year-old son Emerson, "loved to learn, sing, and lift up others," according to GoFundMe organizer Jen Dinatally.
Born in Memphis, TN, she worked in real estate and was committed to helping families/individuals find their “forever home," her obituary says.
She also attended Reading Area Community College and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, according to her obituary.
Over $4,600 had been raised on a GoFundMe as of Oct. 6.
She is survived by her son, Emerson Hawley, her parents Samuel and Linda Preston, her sister Angela and four brothers: Antonio, Samuel, Daniel, and Aaron Preston. Her paternal grandmother, Geraldine Preston, maternal grandmother Jerie Singleton, special grandfather Alton Singleton, one niece, three nephews, and other loved ones.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 2 at Harris Funeral Home on North Front Street.
