Sex Offender Slashes Woman's Face In Lancaster Street, Police Say A woman was slashed across her face on Wednesday night, Aug. 7, Lancaster City police announced the following day.  Victor Manuel Sanchez, 62, of Lancaster, appeared to be attempting to stab the woman "possibly beat a female with a knife in the 100 block of N. Queen St." around 9:40 p.m., the police stated in the release.  The woman "sustained a slash on her face after Sanchez struck her with the blade of his knife," police said.
