A 21-year-old woman was hospitalized after gunfire struck vehicles and homes in Pennsylvania overnight, police said.
Officers responded to the 800 block of Reno Place in Philadelphia’s 9th District around 3:41 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, for a report of a person with a gun.
At the scene, officers found four spent shell casings, three vehicles hit by gunfire, and two residences struck by bullets, according to police.

PA Dad Killed In Head-On Motorcycle Crash On Route 611: State Police
A 46-year-old dad was killed and another motorcyclist seriously injured in a head-on crash in Pennsylvania, authorities said.
Chad A. Hess of Easton, originally of Bangor, was riding a 2010 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide south on North Delaware Drive, also known as Route 611, in Lower Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, around 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, PA State Police Bethlehem said.
Hess lost control, crossed into the northbound lane, and struck a northbound 2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, according to the release.

Quadruple Fatal: Family Killed After Car Plunges Down Embankment, PA State Police Say
A mother, father, and their two children were killed when their car plunged about 60 feet down a steep embankment in Susquehanna County on Saturday, Aug. 29, state police said.
Troopers were called around 10:16 a.m. to the area of 1365 Rock Mountain Drive in Gibson Township, where first responders found the sedan down the embankment, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Peter Thatcher, 45, and Sandra Thatcher, 45, both of Tunkhannock, police said, died in the crash along with their 11-year-old son, Noah, and 10-year-old daughter, Layla. Public records identified the children.

A Pennsylvania woman has admitted to causing the fiery head-on crash that killed a father and his daughter in a high-speed crash in Pennsylvania.
Beth Fife, 52, of East Earl Township, pleaded guilty before Lancaster County Judge Merrill Spahn on Tuesday, Aug. 19, to two counts each of homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, and recklessly endangering another person, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office announced on Friday, Aug. 28.
She also pleaded guilty to three summary traffic offenses.

All three people found dead after two were beaten and a Dauphin County home was intentionally set ablaze have now been identified, officials announced on Friday, Aug. 28.
Dean Edward Johnson, 55, and Renee Millette Johnson, 59, were both homicide victims, while Anthony James Kinsey Jr., 34, died in the fire, Dauphin County Chief Deputy Coroner Vince Paese told Daily Voice.
