Philadelphia Police Officer Ryan Daut shot 22-year-old Quron Banks after he struck another officer with his Camaro while fleeing an illegal car meet, authorities announced Friday, Jan. 24.
Officers monitoring for illegal car meets found a gathering at the Target parking lot on 4000 Monument Street around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, police said. Banks, driving a red Camaro linked to illegal meets, sped away, evading officers on I-76, authorities said.
